Hey guys,
I got my replacement unit after being told my unit had a fault (no further info was given so unfortunately I can't say what the cause was).
Straightaway I can say that this unit is much quieter, there are no more vibrations at certain speeds, and the knocking noise isn't present after an hours use. They've changed the style of the feet to add stability to the unit, by turning them you can increase the height of the feet by 3 & 6mm. The overall style of them is the same as the previous ones, so I can't say that they're offering any improvement, but could be handy if you're dealing with uneven flooring.
If you've got one of these and it's making noises similar to those I'd described earlier, get it in to be checked, as you should only really hear your gearing and the splashing of the fluid inside the turbine.
If anyone's got any questions, give me a shout
Lewis
Wow, i'ts a shame to hear that.
Keep us informed please![1](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/1.gif)

Hi Ramon,
I still have the noise, and adjusting the tensioning pulley has done nothing at all to cure it. The trainer now vibrates at certain speeds (after no warm up time), telling me that there is something off axis, and I've tried concrete floors, and used the elite mat and a four fold thick yoga mat too which did nothing to help. Yesterday I boxed it up to take back to Evans so they can send it away for a warranty check, I'll let you know the outcome.
Cheers
Lewis
mine silent. did up to 2 hours for 5 months now and great machine.
replaced a leMond due to complaints about the noise in the home!
Hi! Im having the same issue. I think it started after tweaking the pulley bolt so I will try to loose the bolt and see what happens.
Have you fixed your turbomuin or the knocking continues?
Regards,
Ramon
