Carrier for Pickup Truck.

I have just got a new pickup. My previous truck had a hard top, so I could wedge two bikes against the sides inside the hard top. I also have a Thule three bike towbar fit carrier.

We have a total of 5 bikes, so I have some options:

- get a 5 bike tow bar carrier.
- get one of those carriers that fit inside the bed of the truck and allow the bike to be carried inside the truck bed.

Option two seems best for a few of reasons. I don't often need to carry 5 bikes, often it's only two. If it's pouring down, or the roads are covered in salt and mud carrying the bikes in the truck bed stops them from getting plastered. However, I don't seem to be able to find a UK supplier that supplies fittings that allow bikes to be carried in the back of the truck. These are basically a bar that fits across the load bed and the bikes can be clipped to it. There are loads of US suppliers, but no real UK contenders. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This is what my old man uses:

Seems to do the job ok. There is a kind of cam lever which compresses the ends against the sides pretty firmly, he lives in N Wales as well do it's used to being hurled around a bit. Never moves.
