Cables don't need maintenance! I've got over 4000km on my old 10-speed Ultegra winter bike with zero work ever needed on the cables. Still shifts like a knife through butter.
It's probably worth getting a bike from the continent with the strong pound at the moment.
The GT grade carbon in cycling plus (and other previews online) had Di2 and hydraulic brakes in their review for £2599 so I went to put in an order only to have it sneakily amended to 105, needles to say I cancelled. Apparently GT did it for all their review bikes which is poor show imo.
Yeah, its annoying how bikes supplied for review often have a completely different setup to what will actually be available to the public. But the £2.6k GT Grade carbon comes with ultegra. The 105 version is £2k, they can't charge you the ultegra price and deliver the 105 model.
the reason some of the original Grades had Di2 is simply because there wasn't stock of the mechanical levers available. that should have been explained in reviews.
Boardman CXR9.4DI2 can be got for £3k
I couldn't get over the paint-job![2](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/2.gif)
You could buy the frame set which comes in black mainly and build it up yourself, but then again custom build opens many avenues.
Another option to chuck out there...the Focus Cayo Disc 4. Claimed lightest disc frame on the market, internal cable routing, thru axels, full hydros. Costs £2k. The 4.0 comes with SRAM but its all ready to upgrade to full Di2 - it has a convertible plate for electro shifting. So you could sell the SRAM and buy and install a Di2 groupset and the total price would be well under £3k.
An advantage over the rose (in my opinion) is that you can test ride it and probably get a proper bike fitting included in the price.

New bike for 2015 so not a huge amount of reviews out there yet, other than a couple of small but positive ones in German.
I've got one on order, but there's currently a long backlog - they aren't expecting delivery until June.
