Ignore farells cynical view, if we all took that approach the world would be a poorer place.
FWIW I had an attempted break in on my garage after installing CCTV. Called the police and it lead to a prosecution.
So yes call the police and explain the situation.
It happened between London's British Library and Ossulston street. I was hopping that the bicycle owner would have contacted me, but guess something happened with my note. I will give the pictures to the police. I know that there is little chance that they will catch him. I'm more disappointed that they can just swipe the bikes from our noses and nobody cares or even moves a muscle. Thank you all
Was it a Cannondale Supersix outside a starbucks by any chance?
Pass on the photos to the police
Whatever you do do not show these photos online. Take them to the police first. If you post these online it will probably jeopardise the case if it goes to court !
Chortle.
It's sweet that you think the police give a single fuck and this has a chance of going to court.
Well believe it or not it was a police officer who once gave me this advice.

Or call your local non-emergency police number.
I think if you came across a bike thief and took photos, I'm sure the bobbies would be interested....dId you catch his face, if so it might make their job easier to identify him, but good luck!
