Following on from the Portegate saga yesterday, If the UCI commisaires are to be taken seriously and apply rule 8.2 to Clarke and Porte, then for consistency they must apply Rule 3.3 to Contador.
Rule 3.3 states that any rider removing his (mandatory) helmet during a race will be subject to a 100 SF fine plus disqualification. Bertie was clearly seen to ride along (hands off he bars whilst near the front of the peloton) for some distance yesterday without his helmet, whilst a teammate gave him a cap to put on underneath the helmet.
I've got nothing personal against Contador - but if the UCI say the rules must be obeyed they must apply them without fear or favour - but somehow I can't see it happening.
2,10,16 for me. My team is a bit too sprint heavy but am stuck with it for now, need to save changes for transition to the TT and high mountains...
From 947th overall after stage 6 I've managed to salvage some respectability with 240th after stage 11. Just 40 behind TER now.
Its very tight!
I somehow seem to be the gauge of doing well after how high up I finished overall last year
If that's the case I'm on fire as I'm up to 150 ish ......I always do well in the giro somehow
2,8,9 for me (Betancur, Paterski and PhilGil), plus Contador, Aru, Landa. Other three were Villella, Pirazzi & Geschke so didn't quite have the right break guys in. Still not bad tho, just a shame I took out Boem instead of Villella at the weekend.
Reasonable for me today compared to many others I reckon.
9 and 15 -.-
..... this is turning in to a very entertaining Giro to watch, but in my oppinion, horrible to predict.
I love it But fantasy-wise... well... Still, how can you not love a woman, or a game, that drives you nuts?...
Good day for my purist team with Zakarin, Betancur and Intxausti
Looks like i won't be getting a whole lot of points today
By the looks of things i only really have Gilbert to pull for me. This Giro is not going well for me...

Team for the next two days... not going to win any stages but hopefully sets me up for the weekend and keeps me high overall.
Also the first stage since the TTT that I don't have Rosa, who's off the front. Sigh...

Just imagine Oleg Tinkoff's face if his team sit up and allow sky to attack
