Good grief. I've just had a look at his Twitter timeline. How much time does he have on his hands to respond to that many tweets? What a miserable bastard.
I know he's past his sell-by date and his humour is rather forced but hell, I still like him. And the stuff he said about cyclists wasn't half as bad as his critique of the Council. Maybe he's right about one thing, we are a little too touchy sometimes?
Actually, when someone suggests cyclists should be doored, run down and otherwise assaulted I'm not sure 'too touchy'actually applies, especially as the police seem to have no interest in dealing with his incitement to violence.
...from a fat 'has been' comedian that advertises 'carcations'...my life is in tatters...NOT!
Someone needs a hug. And a new bike.
some may say cruelly he is too fat for one
The Telegraph are the same. Even though opposite my political stance always enjoyed reading their pieces to get a view from the other side. Now they do the same and it infects everywhere, look at what BBC Sport tweet out now
The Independent is turning into utter bogroll. Their presence on Facebook is pitiful - one friend of mine is forever linking articles of the "[Pronoun] did [thing]. What happened at [timecheck] is [exaggerated adjective]!!" variety. It's embarrassing.
Same problem as all the newspapers to a varying extent. Too many columnists spouting opinions, too few journalists investigating stories.
HELLOOO. YEH. YEH I'M WATCHING TRIGGER HAPPY TV. YOU DON'T REMEMBER IT? OH.. NAH, IT'S RUBBISH.
He is typical of what the MSM have become, link bait and WUM's ...
Ignore and do not click.
If I wrote that sort of thing about ethnic minorities what would be the response?
Yes, that was pointed out to him it seems.
What about the 80% of cyclists who also drive a car?
Classic out-group treatment, them & us, bollocks about lycra etc etc, I couldn't be bothered after the first paragraph.
He's just wanting attention. Don't give it to him.
A suggestion: read and appreciate Jo Burt's account of the Etape du Tour instead:
