Alpkit do a fair amount of reasonable kit, ive got quite a few bits of their kit (saddlebag, ti pot, burner etc) and its all well made.
This is their waterproof phone case offering, Not too bad for under a 5er.

Not immediately useful but....
Next time you buy a phone, just buy a waterproof one. E.g. several of Sonys' Xperia range are. OR just buy a second hand one from Ebay. E.g. an older Sony Xperia S if you just want GPS, or maybe the more recent Xperia M2 Aqua if you want a newer one that has ANT+ and BLE.
Ikea make good ziploc bags.
I've got a knitted Moose phone cover for protection that I got free with some of their socks and I just put it in a sealable sandwich bag. Sorted. And it cost me nothing.
yep, same reason I won't be buying another velopac.
My pocpac is okay but I wouldn't buy another one. Same issues as above and sometimes you'll find the press it type zip has come apart.
I have a pocpac that I only used once, the edges are too sharp and the material too stiff to put in a jersey pocket without fearing for it's safety. Wouldn't have been so much of a problem if the thing wasn't so wide, but you had to squash it to fit into a pocket.
Problem with pocpac will be the same as velopac, it's edges make it difficult to use the side buttons on the phone, all these bags are designed for iphones/phones with buttons on the front
PocPac, sturdy and well made, big enough to fit in a phone, credit cards, cash.
I bought 300 heavy duty ziplock bags for £20 on Amazon about 2 years back. Use them for everything and still have 1/2 left now.
Can't really beat them.
Try ours we have a range of sizes and designs thepocpac.co.uk Reviewed well here too http://road.cc/content/review/99251-pocpac-ipac-3-ipac-3x
thanks chaps
I've a ShowersPass phone case that I'm pretty happy with. It's hard wearing, waterproof and you can drive your phone through the clear section.
With an S4 it fitted perfectly (IIRC they offer different sizes depening on the phone), with my new LG G4 it's a teensy bit too small so the clear screen doesn't sit perfectly flat - works but makes it more awkward to use the phone.
Fits in a jersey pocket comfortably, though you won't get much else in there with it.
Nice. Thanks for the tips chaps. Been thinking about this -

I'd recommend those. Been using them for ages for hiking.
Costco quart size freezer bags strong enough to keep change in as well seal falls apart before the bag.
Jeez, this means I have to go to the shops...![17](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/17.gif)
Sandwich bags ? Available from all good supermarkets for around a quid!
