Wheel upgrade question

I am after some advice please:
I am currently riding a Cannondale SuperSix Evo (2014) with stock Fulcrum 5's , looking at upgrading these to campag zonda's but is this worth the expense or any other suggestions ? I live on the yorks/lancs border so very hilly but cannot seem to justify any deep section carbon wheels.

Thank You!

Excellent choice, I have the same.

I think you'll have to shave off more than 100g before you'll get an appreciable performance improvement based on weight, unless the climbs are very long which I doubt. But it's all just a question of money. To me the upgrade does not seem worthwhile based on performance. However I own four decent sets of wheels and the biggest advantages in my view are:

1. I never fix a flat before a ride

2. I have different tyre and gearing selections ready to go in a minute

What's the purpose of the upgrade? The weight savings is about 100g. I don't think the Zondas will make you faster. They are not different enough from what you already have. Upgrading tyres might make more sense.

just switched to Conti GP4000 II and increased to 25mm and already feeling a benefit I was thinking that an upgrade of wheel might also help me improve climbing/speed etc . Incremental gains and all that?

Thanks
