Too much money. You'd have to really want to go to pay that much. This isn't as ingrained in our culture as football yet. I expect most of the seats that do get sold will be taken by companies for entertaining or tourists! I'd like to go but cycling mates think it's too much money and don't get track riding (which is more fun to watch imo than road), and non cyclists still think that's quite a pricey night out!
Prices to high, also, I believe there is no alcohol unless you pay the super expensive prices to go into the centre of the track.
The whole atmosphere will be crap, London is massive compared to some of the small venues on the continent, where the fans are packed in, beer is on the go and the fans are very vocal. Over here it will be a flop
I'd be surprised if there was no alcohol. When I've been there for Revolution, Track Worlds etc the Meantime stands have been doing a roaring (and very reasonably priced) trade.
Way too expensive I'd say. I think it would need to be about £10 a ticket to tempt me to go. I don't think there's the demand for six nights of track racing in the UK.
