Storing your summer wheels/tyres

I have just taken off my summer wheels and was curious what to do with them. Should I deflate the tyres and remove them from the wheels or leave them up? Is there any danger of them degrading over winter in a shed?

Have you given up on Summer already? You've not fitted your mudguards yet, have you? 2

Don't think I've ever had tyres for different seasons. I buy a set and use them till they need replaced.

If you aren't going to use the 'summer' bike then hang it up and deflate the tyres for the duration.

I bin any tyres that I have used during the summer. There are usually cuts / nicks / faults in them anyway. I've had a few (summer) tyres degrade over the winter, to the point they've blown the side walls out.
