Second claim club / team

So I've been part of a cycling club for the past 4 years or something, but I've just joined a race team. I'll stay a member of the club but will race for the team elsewhere. Does this make my club my second claim club?
If so, when I enter a time trial held by my club, do I put down me as being part of the club or my team?
And also, what is a second claim club anyway?
So much confusion on my part, I apologise.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong...

My understanding is that you race for your first claim club or team, whether in road, TT etc provided they are affiliated to the governing body - BC, CTT etc.

If your race team is not CTT registered then you race time trials as a member of your second claim club regardless of what you do in RR etc.

Being a second claim member often means you are not eligible for club awards but this varies and will depend on the the club's rules.
