LOOK Grip cleat pedal problems

I'm having problems with my LOOK Grip cleats. On the left one the rubber at the front fell off, so I swapped the pedal around (so the one I put down still has rubber on). I recently ordered some new cleats off Amazon, and I was wondering whether I can have one new cleat and one old one.

Thanks!

Invest in a set of cleat covers for walking around in - I have been running Keo pedals for a few years now and covering the cleats when off the bike vastly improves the life of them.

They are are rideable without the grip strip, if you get new cleats why not put the good one away to one side as a spare?

I recommend bikesy.co.uk for buying cleats - great way of finding them at a good price

The "rubber" you're talking about I'm assuming is the grip strip at the bottom of the cleat. It has nothing to do with pedaling. Just be extra careful walking on smooth surfaces.
