I've had quite a few successes with getting things fixed though that (potholes, trees growing over paths, missing white lines etc). Problems sometimes arise if the issue is near to a council boundary, as then each council blames the other.
I think there is also an app that lets you upload reports with photos and locations automatically attached.
There is an app. There are a few steps to submitting a report but it is effective. Adding a picture is useful. I used it a couple of hours ago to report a litter bin that was over flowing with dog waste.
