Seem to recall Shimano had a bad batch of RS80s a couple of years ago. They exhibited exactly this behaviour. Shimano replaced them without question under warranty.
I,ve returned the front wheel to Chainreaction so await a reply.
I ran RS31s for about 2 years now and am so happy with them I got the disc version when I got a disc frameset earlier this year.
Have you checked the hubs? Old school cup and cone bearings on these and they may need a slight tighten.
Yea I'm happy with the wheels too. They are well made and ride real well. The only problem is the warp in the front rim.The bearings are fine the pads are new etc.All I'm asking is has anyone had the same problem? ( warped rim)
Have you checked your brake pad set up?
Of course and tried the wheel in a different bike. The feeling is the same (warped) rim out of the box.Never had a problem with Shimano in 25 years so it's a first ,thats why I'm asking has anyone had the same problem.Could be a faulty batch of rims from whoever makes the rims!
