Psst! I think he's talking about us!

I read this with mixture of unconcealed amusement combined with toe-curling embarrassment due to the accuracy of Dominic's description of my life, and I figured I wouldn't be alone!

Hey F&C, to be fair to the writer I think he's often away from his BBC desk and on his bike. I agree with your sentiment though in having respect for any of those who have a go!

Well I think 50 is middle aged but who cares?

If you're fat you will look fat and if you are a 6 pack god then lycra will look great lol.

Personally I don't care and have respect for a fat guy in lycra busting his rear to climb that hill ride that century than someone doing nothing but moan about it from behind their BBC desk!

Besides gives us more people to blast past and bikes cheaper...so I thought! 44

If you're too busy looking at other riders then you're not riding fast enough!

I emailed this to my wife before she saw it and sent it to me.

Look on the bright side - we're part of the zeitgeist.
