Yeah i knew it opened on the 1st, they got it up to 650 last year, but i think there was a problem with more because its mainly open roads
Nothing yet, but I have heard that if they can't get the numbers increased, then it is going to really hard to get in. 28th April 2012. entries open 1st oct
I'm also looking at the blue route, i think i might just be fit enough if the winter aint to bad and i get some decent ride outs done, any idea on entry costs?
no Gkam i'm going to do the short route, and the way i'm going i'll be walking over ben lomond and up Glenfarg, but there is a good ice cream shop in Newburgh.![3](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/3.gif)
You gonna do the black route?
I did that in June last year after getting the route from a mate, took me 7.5 hours and nearly killed me, lol, some of the club racers did it in under 6 hours![4](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/4.gif)
"So you on the mend now?"
I Was until I hit a pothole on my mtb on March 11 and smashed my face in. 32 stitches.
Still want to aim for Kinross Sportive next March
You only need a stand and a few tools, then if you look around online, plenty of "how to" vids that will get you started
So you on the mend now?
Complete build. I have everything except the wires.
This is the bits that folk gave me after my cardiac collapse a year ago when I ended up nearly dead, and my old bike got squished. Plus some odd bits I bought. I wasn't all taht serious about you building it tho' Kirkcaldy.
My budget is as little as possible without going to heavy
I'm looking at vintage frames on ebay for under £50, but i dont know if they will handle shimano 105
What you need done on your bike? where abouts in the "kingdom" are you![4](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/4.gif)
