If all you want to track is distance and elevation all you need is a cheapy Symbian or android and get Endomondo that'll do it all for you
I'd be carefully getting any galaxy at the moment after the new European ruling which has banned samsung for selling them in many countries because of the patent law of apple's iphone, this is about to come about in America aswell, so i can see samsung dropping support and updates for the galaxy series aswell, meaning the prices on ebay and the like will drop right off
I have the ace and use google's my tracks, its pretty good and has all the info you need.![4](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/4.gif)
