I got a reply isaacforce, wonder why you haven't 39 .

Anyhoo, no entries on the day as they need to know how much water/food etc for the feedstations. Still coughing a lung up so doubt I'll manage to make it. I went out at the weekend, small loop from Blanchland and back via the Crawleyside climb........................ 22

It's a toughie, averages 17% for 3 miles, the bit through Crawleyside is a killer, I pity the 100 milers.

I emailed to see if there was any places left, took a few days to get a reply 22

I was hoping they accepted places on the day as I'm currently laid up with a chest infection. If I finish coughing a lung up for long enough I might turn up for the 50 miler (ahem cough cough 17 )
