Potentially but Europcar aren't guaranteed one, Skil-Shimano has had some good results with Kittel this year so they have as much a chance as anyone. Europcar had a good TdF but I haven't heard of them doing much else all year.

If Cobo wins the Vuelta i think Geox will be given one of the licence's which means Skil lose out.

I make that three licenses available, one from Quickstep/OLO, HTC and Radioshack. GreenEdge should get one, but I think that leaves two up for grabs between probably Europcar, Skil-Shimano and Geox.

Yeah that covers one loss to the pro teams

I started another topic, just seems like cycling might be starting a spiral downward??

Leopard's press release on Monday night said that the team will be racing under their license. So that frees up one for... GreenEdge? Europcar? Someone else?

But both teams still have pro license's Leopard till 2014 and Radioshack till 2013, so is it Leopards they will use?

Leopard is still the licence holder. And now they have more than just the bike sponsor, thay can drop that from the team name 3

No Leopard anyone, its going to be

Radioshack-Nissan-Trek

Radioshack had been planning something for a while because they only have 13 riders under contract as of just now

There is talk about no room for Jens Voigt in there, Sky should go in and grab him just for his experience 4

Oh well, it is true then, think its strange they are still going to be based in Luxembourg? So Two big American sponsors and one Japanese, but based in Europe 39

Also, they have to shed some riders and will most teams filling up and with another merger and HTC folding, i'm thinking there are going to be a few riders looking for a new profession

So is this showing how companies feel about sponsoring cycling teams and events? i can see more pulling out over the next few years because of the way the whole cycling scene is set up

At least it seems to rule out a move to LT for Cav 4

I suspect a story in L'Equipe is going to carry more weight than one on Bettor.com 3

The Velonation story is from last week, L'Equipe from this morning - they acknowledge that LT have denied the rumours. t looks credible, although of course nothing's ever final till it's confirmed.
