No worries. I knew you were joking, shame I wasn't joking when it comes to my racing ability!
Sounds good. I was abroad when the Surrey Classic was on but my dad went and got some great shots of Cav and Wiggo.
I would love to attend to TdF one day. I have sadly been saying that since circa 1989!!!!
If I was the UCI, I'd exonerate him, apologise, and take him out for a mixed grill at a resteraunt of his choice.
Ok, anyone else just watch the live press conference on Eurosport hd?
If so, what's your gut feeling? Innocent or guilty.
I was very much thinking guilty but my gut feeling is wavering now for some reason. Poster stays then, sorry guys.
Can I ask where you got said poster? I will race you for it?
Racing me is no challenge so I'll decline.
I met him at a bike show in London and he was signing posters, etc. It was on the SiS stand.
I was one of the only ones who could converse with him there which was nice.
The following year I got a picture of my son with Super Mario too.
I was only joking about racing. I was at the TdF last year, we camped just outside of Gap. After the caravan had passed we waited, Alberto came up about 100 meters in front of the chasing peloton and i got some great photos. The following day every French and Italian newspaper we saw had pics similar to but nowhere near as good! Feeling I missed a payday there!
He was tested throughout the Vuleta last year, came out clean and still won. Does he need to dope to win? Gutted hes not gonna be at the TdF to throw a spanner in the Luxembourgish wheels!
I wonder if the spanish knew it was coming.Looking at the vuelta route for this year its tailor made for Alberto. Did they have insider info that the ban would be 6 months with time served and so the vuelta becomes his comeback triumph.
The handling of this is just ridiculous.
hear, hear
His signed poster will be coming off my sons wall then.
Can I have the poster in that case
lol - and spoil my burning it fun!
+1
Official presss release from the CAS! http://www.tas-cas.org/d2wfiles/document/5649/5048/0/Media20Release20_En...
Here ya go chaps ...

Just heard it on BBC news, he's been stripped of the title !!!!!
Any betting men/women?
A straw poll on likely outcome?
I'm going for....Bertie gets off as CAS displays leniency and accepts the Clen was innocently ingested and he was only caught because of the new testing techniques that the UCI approved lab used....despite the fact that his blood was laced with plasticizers.....
The Inner Ring on Twitter:
"Final stage of the 2010 Tour de France today, with a finish in the Swiss city of Lausanne. Arrival expected at midday but could be earlier."
Michael Hutchinson on Twitter:
"First cycling classic of the season approaches -- CAS to finally resolve the strange case of Contador and the Clenbuterol at 12. Allegedly."
