Rotten luck. Hope you're back in the saddle soon.
Fraid not, hoping to get out on it tomorrow or Tuesday![16](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/16.gif)
My 3.1 arrived yesterday, early, I'm so pleased!
Can't ride it today though gotta take the missus to the seaside!
Enjoy, when you get the chance. Been superb cycling weather here in Cambridgeshire so even more frustrating. Could you squeeze in a ride at the seaside?
wow a bit of a hard ride, imagine the tagline ' trek so stiff it will snap your appendix' maybe let some air out of the tyres?
Be careful with your recovery... my appendix burst in April and I was back in hospital with an infection in October... which didn't clear up so I had to have another operation in November.
Just be aware of the risks because if I was I may have avoided missing load of my first term at uni and having to have another op.
Bad luck, get well soon!
I have a 3.1 on order myself, due 12th March, very frustrating, so we may be on the road at the same time!
Yeah not the best having just got your new bike, another bonus is your 4lbs lighter, give you a couple of extra seconds up a climb![3](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/3.gif)
Ouch. Look on the bright side though, your first upgrade just shed 4lb off the total weight you need to carry!
Get well soon, the bike will still be there...
that's some pretty rotten luck. apart from the bit where you got a new bike![1](https://cdn.road.cc/sites/all/modules/contrib/smiley/packs/smilies/1.gif)
