I just thought it was lovely how much effort went into building what was essentially a mass produced product and the attention to detail.
Its a shame we have lost that amount of skill on such a large scale in British cycle production.
The closing remarks of the film about the merits of bicycles and bicycling still stand to this day.
Did want to punch the kid in the face very hard though!
That's a cracking film, especially if your into engineering. What an absolute shame we have lost all that now - along with the British motorcycle industry, car industry, North Sea Gas etc, etc, etc. The majority of the bike industry is now in the far east and will probably never get back to these shores in the volume it was then.
Well done for finding it.
