When I was looking at my possible options for a new bike I did email a few questions over to Dolan but never got a reply.
Admittedly, I was pretty set on a couple of bikes but the right answers might have changed my mind.
Dolan's site is woeful. I'm a Dolan owner of 4 years and even I have no clue whatsoever what bike is for what purpose on there (when talking about the Hercules, Ares or Tuono). Click on a link for more info and it's an empty box each and every single time.
I'm in the market for a new bike, had to call them up a few times and it's pot luck how much help you get.
I would not bother with Aksiums. American Classic Sprint 350 are just as durable and much lighter at 1400g. Might even be some for sale in classifieds of Road.cc
I have Hercules SE , Great at smoothing the rubbish roads, while remaining quick. For the price great bike, maybe not the lightest or that flash.
RANG DOLAN TODAY THERE RECOMENDATION WERE EITHER THE TUONO OR HERCULES ,FORGOT TO ASK BUT CAN SOMEONE TELL ME WHATS THE DIFFERENCE IN THE SE AND SL MODELS
the SE is the old version, the SL is the new one. I think the SE has internal cable routing and a full carbon fork. im sure there are load of other differences but those two stand out to me. the full carbon fork would make a difference to the total frame weight.

Hi,
I thought it was the Tuono for sportives?
...I could easily be wrong
On another note - if you do get one please tell us what's it like. I'm looking at getting a Dolan in the next 4-6 months as well. The Tuono SL looks very nice!
Hercules SL
Obvs.
It's the Hercules that's aimed at spotives if I remember right, so that'll probably suit you best. If you can still find a Mythos it'll do the same job for a lot less money, though.
I ride a Preffisio for commuting and even with full guards, rack and pannier it rides nice and climbs well.
I've no experience of his carbon frames but I can't imagine you'll go wrong with one of them.
