Sorted. Replacement in post.
Won't be washing the new one so ordering supply of Febreze.
I have 2 other merino base layers with no shrinkage and are washed the same.
Have been emailing all day and their first reply was can't be bothered with arguing with you so here's 20 quid.
Will get on one with them tomorrow as they seem to be from another planet.
I hate it when that happens - you want to get right ON-ONE and have a go. though I have brought 3 of them as managed to shrink 2 of them but they are fantastic, right up to the time they get washed.
I wash all my merino in the machine on a 30 degree 'hand wash' cycle. I'd be surprised if anything would shrink at that temperature.
