13th on stage and a full house to. Not a bad days work
3rd unlucky Johnny!
3,8,9,12 from the top 20 plus the gc boys.
here's your 11 -20 as well.
11 - Leonardo Duque
12 - Ben Swift
13 - Michal Golas
14 - Grega Bole
15 - Zdenek Štybar
16 - Arnaud Courteille
17 - Georg Preidler
18 - Francisco Ventoso
19 - Ángel Madrazo
20 - Mark Renshaw
2,3,6,7,12,20, + majka&henao points. quite dissapointing i must say
whatever happened to renshaw? poor show
6,7,8,12,13 for me, plus Hushovd bonus pts, and GC/jersey for 3 others. At first thought not great, but actually with Renshaw/Howard missing out and not many people having 1,4 or 5, it might be OK...
swift definitely doesn't pay as a roadcc pick, that's for sure. i cant believe they gave kruopis the green light after i'd swapped him out for howard
Also seems argos gave JVR the nod ahead of Mezgec ? or boxed in?
well anyway, my big gamble didn't quite pay off, but not a total disaster either.
And big up to big man Phinney for that, its not often the solo break-away so close to the end wins out!
Oh, I've missed it then.....crap, I just came home hoping to catch it.....
I'll go kick the scores around and see what I come up with today
1 PHINNEY Taylor BMC Racing Team
2 VON HOFF Steele Garmin - Sharp
3 HUTAROVICH Yauheni AG2R La Mondiale
4 KRUOPIS Aidis Orica GreenEDGE 1 13
5 JANSE VAN RENSBURG Reinardt Team Argos - Shimano
6 HUSHOVD Thor BMC Racing Team
7 MEZGEC Luka Team Argos - Shimano
8 MATYSIAK Bartlomiej CCC Polsat Polkowice
9 RATTO Daniele Cannondale Pro Cycling Team
10 SCHORN Daniel Team NetApp – Endura
who the hell is matysiak ?!? lol
He's the 3 point filla I didnt pick!!!!
Honestly - I have no idea. Remembered the name so looked him up, and turns out he was in the break in a couple of ToP stages last year which is presumably why I recognised it. Thought he was as good a 3-credit breakaway pick as anyone, but top 10 in a sprint is a bonus!
I see Swift did his usual thing of sitting up when he knows he can't win. Fair enough, but doesn't he know we have fantasy points riding on him?!
Good shout - that was brilliant when he appeared out of nowhere at the finish of MSR after that picture he'd tweeted earlier on, thanks for reminding me!
Matysiak came in 8th according to the telly, that one's turning out to be a very lucky pick!
phinney takes it solo from 7k out! shades of his heroics in MSR that nearly saw him bridge to front group for final? what an engine

anyone got a live video feed? my sky go isnt working
great day to get rid of Duarte!
chrisdstripes, dont hold your breath mate, i seldom get these right
Well after only bringing swift for yesterday i still ended up 43rd on stage so quite happy. Brought in Ratto and Hutarovich for today. I think Ratto might be there or thereabouts today and i dont think he will be picked by many.
I wondered about Ratto - Cannondale definitely thought he was worth working for yesterday, and today could be a bit more selective. Like your style Stumps!
The break is settled according to the Twitter feed...
Benedetti
Ladagnous
Minguez
Bellemakers
De Greef
Duarte
Morajko
Gradek
Fronczek
Can't see that affecting many, although Benedetti and Bellemakers are the kind of people that someone chasing the break might go for...
what twitter feed you using?
Oh, I just searched Tour de Pologne in Twitter and their official feed came up.
Kept my sprinters from yesterday but made 2 GC related transfers. which should get me a full house
Howard
Renshaw
Von Hoff
Swift
Henao
Majka
Izagirre
Rohregger
Capecchi
points from 5 GC riders is as good as a win from sprinter i don't have, meaning one less rider to transfer out tomorrow
Well, i've pushed on with my gamble on a sprint finish and gone for a full 7 man sprint team:
Hushovd
mezgec
swift
hutarovich
renshaw
howard
van off
+
henao
majka
going for the stage win!! the die is cast...
Wowza! Looks pretty hot...
gone sh*t or bust! It's looking increasingly likely it will be a sprint, cycling news feed has gap down to 1:22 with approx 50k to go. Ratto is a thought, slightly uphill finish might suit. can I have an 8th sprinter pls?
Seriously though, It will cost me a bomb to switch this lot out- although at the moment I cant decide who to go for tomorrow, bit of an unpredictable stage.
Playing it cautious - expecting a bunch sprint but its not exactly pan-flat and I want to keep transfers in hand for Fri/Sat. With 6-man teams and big time gaps on GC, a break could definitely stay to the finish today or tomorrow. So just one change for me...
Majka
Henao
Huzarski
Matysiak
Swift
Hushovd (in for Kruiswijk)
Golas
Mezgec
Rebellin (hmm...)
Kruopis won this stage last year, but looks like Howard might be favoured above him this time round...
So after not having any sprinters yesterday, i've brought in Hushovd and Renshaw continuing my run of playing catch up!
i'll tell you my thoughts in 46 mins
How kind of you, make it 50
