Pretty happy with 10th on the stage, slowly slowly catching up at least
Green arrows and i only scored 100
Betancur has been ill in the run up to the race so he's out of form, he's specifically stated he's looking at stage wins towards the end of the race and the worlds.
EBH is another out of sorts after his ENECO crash but he at least seems to be getting back on form.
Betancur is well out of sorts, time to get him out of my team I think
175 Carlos Alberto BETANCUR GOMEZ COL ALM 24 +14:21
4,5,16 my fast slide down the tables continues!
Think lots of penalty points are called for!
i sucked at that stage
turns out i went up 30 places. shows what i know
Early indications are that Horner lost 6 secs putting Nibali back in Red...
Correct, I think that was a plan, Nibali went with the big guns of J-Rod and Valverde, Horner saw it and backed off, giving Cancellara the freedom for a few stages
Hope you're right - I'm definitely keeping Cancellara for tomorrow anyway...
I can add 11 and 17 to that (2,3,4,6). Astana were clearly working for Iglinsky but he bailed with one km to go which was a shame. And Ratto couldn't quite hack it. Decent for purist thanks to Moreno, although my purist is all GC so I'm guessing won't get much for the next three days. Great stage though!
oh that didn't go too well 4, 6, 10
My purist team is delighted, but this way NOT the top 20 I expected to see today

I guess 1,3,4,11,16 will have to do
Ratto the let down
Ha! 2,3,4,6 but dropped 1 and 9. Gotta love this game.
At least I had Moreno not much else though
Moreno gets it! I dropped him this morning. Think I did OK apart from that though!
Moreno, my Purist team is happy
That climb looked unbelievable, how there wasn't more trouble with such a large group of them going up it together I dont know.
What gearing would they have used for that climb?
It looks hillier than usual for a 'flat' stage, so I am already regretting bring in Andy Fenn and Leigh Howard. Shudda gone for Zulbeldia...I need to at some point.
Picked up Bole and Janse van Rensburg as a couple of stage-appropriate wildcards to move me up the table...
I've taken in Meersman, Gilbert, Gerrans and Paolini for the next few stages, lets see how it works out
lead of 1:28 for-
Danilo Wyss
Nicolas Edet
Jussi Veikkanen
Dennis Vanendert
Alex Rasmussen
Not had the greatest of starts but resisting taking penalties!
Valverde
Roche
Flecha 4 Krueziger
Meersman

Stybar
Horner
Tiralongo
EBH 4 de Clercq
Ive gone half risk half safe I guess
Ratto

Apparently Henao didn't eat enough
