Basso (out)
Petit
Moreno
Nibali
Horner
Valverde
Roche
Pinot
Txurruka
It's going to be a while before I get the points up today. There could be alot of time out's and abandon's to come

could have been worse I guess!!
2,3,6,7,16,20 + Txurruka will get something for the HC, Basso out and nothing from Petit.
Maybe a penalty tomorrow
Just a quick calculation, Ratto will have scored 78 points today
Finally may have had a better day
Basso out
Valverde
Nibs
Horner
Moreno
Konig
Arroyo
Roche
Pozzovivo.
Finally some points for my Spaniards
Lander and Nieve
I also have Landa in my purist as well.
At the very least I shouldn't fall any further today. Hoping for something better.
103 riders home so far
8 from 9 in the top 20 with only Basso not scoring so decent for me today
Still waiting for a few to come home, else Brown and Chainel will join Sanchez in the 0 scores
2,3,6,7,8,10,11,20 with basso abandoned so one change to make for me , not a bad day
Brown's home in 153rd at 20.43
159 home so far
Made 4 changes for tomorrow. No pens!
My purist has done canny,
1,2,5,12 + Txurruka and Majka. Happy with that.
PROVISIONAL points going up now
One winner
1 GetJohn johcar 233
10 riders missing somewhere
Zubeldia? DNF? HD? Fell down a ditch and vanished? or lost transponder? He's not on any of the finish lists I can see but not shown as abandoned.
I see he's not the only one
Purist team up to 21st overall. Still leading chris by nearly a 100 points But 2 down today so not all good news

Thank you Ratto!!!
Surely nobody can still believe Nibali's spiel about just using the Vuelta to race into form for the worlds.
I doubt he'll ever again have as clear-cut a chance of winning a grand tour as this.
Well the Vuelta as expected throws up surprise after surprise....We lose riders to heat exhaustion and then 3 days later to hypothermia....Dear Lord up above...... is picking a team within budget constraints not tough enough....
Got to be Nibs v Froome for the tour next season?
No Sanchez gets 0 because he didn't finish the stage
LLSanchez abandoned from my purist. Not sure about his points. I think he still gets them for today. Now Basso from my overall team. Good thing I've got a couple of extra transfers for tomorrow as I think I'm going to need them!
This stage is just...
Valverde is now 45secs off the GC group
Basso has abandoned
damn he was looking good too. seems today is gonna shake things up big time!?
