Wheres the badges then dudes?
So, whats the verdict? Gimme all the badges!
thanks.
i dont have either of the badges either
No badges for me? Quite sure I'm one of the 35...
Hmmm, very odd, yes, you scored 148 and finished joint first so should have gotten both a Stage Podium and High Roller badge but don't appear have received either.
Dave, any thoughts? Having looked at a few teams it appears that just the 'top 3' teams listed for the stage rather than any with a position in the top 3 get a badge. Same applies on the High Roller badge, only the top ten listed teams have been awards it and not anyone listed in the top 10.
Yeah
4x2's and a 1x1 were the way to go if you were pushing to joint win the stage.
I left Garmin out due to not being able to see a confirmed startlist for them which worked out being a result.
Just the one SKY for my standard instead of a Shack led to 144pts and 62nd place whilst my purists hit the jackpot with 148pts and a share of 1st place(how is the stage winner decided amongst the 35?)
Badge wise, we all win. I don't think there's a prize though so we don't need to decide on a single winner.
Will we get a Stage Podium & High Roller badge?
Yes. If you hover your cursor over each badge it tells you when you last won that badge, fr both the Stage Podium and High Roller badges it's showing as me having last won them for the Worlds TTT.
I agree. The top 3 I thought were easy picks. 4 and 5 is what it came down to. I took the slight gamble of going radioshack 4, bmc 5, garmin 6+
That wasn't far off in the end!
Better than my ToB total shocker at any rate!
To win the stage you needed to be confident in your picks and pick two each from the top four and one from the fifth team. Being cautious and spreading your picks around to edge your bets was a safer choice but always going to score less the the people going all out and making the right picks.
Will we get a stage podium badge for this TTT stage?
Just a heads up. I've removed every rider from the rosters while I run through the ITT start lists, that means there are currently no riders available. That is intentional as I start to work on the proper startlists.
Scores updating. Only 35 joint winners (I was expecting more). I was one of the joint winners and my standard team (all of 6 points behind thanks to having 2 Radioshack and 1 Greenedge rider instead of the other way around) was 89th.
Given that the Worlds is a competition across three races the fact that a lot of people got similar points isn't the end of the world, you can't win this fantasy comp by doing well in the TTT (much like in a real race).
Me too. I thought it was rather predictable for the people who did their homework. Only the 5th team was somewhat difficult to guess.
Well my purist out scored my standard!
Shud be a few tied for first.
My purist

Garmin have screwed me over
I'm a spanner and forgot to enter my purist!
Anyway
2 OPQS
2 BMC
2 Saxo
2 RSN

2+2+2+2+1 is indeed the only combination likely to win the stage.
Which must be why I also picked a lone rider from AST, GRM and RSN.
