Car crashes into building - please post your Local news stories
Running this one up the flagpole to see who salutes...
I just don't remember this being a thing until recently, now it seems a daily occurrence.
Could it be that there are drivers not up to the job, too many cars; should houses be made to ride in single file, shops put on high viz, why are we putting newer buildings in danger like this, it's irresponsible.

'A Dorset Police spokesperson said: "Dorset Police was called at 12.48pm on Thursday, August 13, to a report of a collision involving a car and a wall outside Iceland on Poole Road in Bournemouth.
"It is reported that the vehicle was also in collision with a pedestrian, but they did not require medical treatment." '

At a sentencing hearing at Truro Crown Court today (Thursday, January 2), it was heard how the 38-year-old from Rosevear Road in Bugle had been driving at such speed away from his parents' home when he collided with a double garage on Roche Road in St Austell.
The prosecutor told the hearing that the "crash was spectacular" as the Audi ended up on top of the parked vehicle in the driveway at the address, with both vehicles being write-offs. The damage Loveridge caused to the property and the other vehicle was so extensive that it cost £30,000 to fix the garage alone.
Not only that but Loveridge also walked away from the scene and returned to his mum's address before being taken to hospital. The only person injured in the crash, he suffered five broken ribs, a punctured lung and required to have a metal plate fitted in his upper arm.

We can expect to see this regularly, along with 'I didn't see him', 'I didn't mean to do it' and 'I don't remember it at all, but I'm fine to drive in future' in accounts of drivers who trash people and buildings and get away with it.

Yeah - and one of the passengers had the gall to say that the *driver* had taken a wrong turn!
Fortunately the BBC was able to ignore that and suggest reasons why the bus might not have seen the forest of warning signs and - you know - the massive bridge.
And they note a bus did the same last year - won't someone find a way of helping these poor buses? Perhaps they could just get rid of the dangerous railways with their deceptive bridges?
Injuries in this one, thoughts with the victims - incidents like this in the past have been horrific.

So, if God has the agency and desire to ensure that a shop was empty to avoid casualties, why didn't they use their divine power to hit the brakes and just avoid the collision entirely? Or was the collision utterly unavoidable (motornormativity) and God had to focus on damage limitation?
The case does rather support the theory that previous prison spells of a year or so are not much of a deterrent
Telegraph poles? not sure thats their primary use these days ?
But the bollards are untouched, so how did they use a vehicle?
