Cyclists remember Holocaust memorial

Cyclists, as the Out Group, in a world of motor-normativity reflect on the painful lesson of history remembered on the 27th January, Holocaust memorial day.

Obviously the road death doesn't compare to the actual Holocaust death toll c.6Mn people, yet road death continues regardless. The trauma to Holocaust survivors is immeasurable and as they get fewer every year, it falls to us to remember all who suffered, and do whatever we can to support diversity and empathy for our fellow humans.

No. Absolutely no. To attempt to draw any parallels in any way at all between cyclist deaths, as horrific as they are, and the Shoah is ludicrous and utterly disrepectful in every way. No.

We have a day for this, anyway. The Ride of Silence.
