I heard it was more like 40 cars, and they were behind the tractor for 2 hours.

Several babies were born on back seats, 5 sets of children missed meals, the last rites were given to at least 6 elderly relatives, 4 hygienist appointments missed...

Did you go to your ten year high school reunion?

“Yes, I did. It was just as though everyone had swelled.”

If they ever study cycle everywhere > get fatter > buy stronger bike I'll volunteer as a test subject. I've no idea what I'm doing wrong, in fact as soon as I finish this doughnut I'm going to Google it.

I have to say I was a bit intrigued by this overturning car transporter, especially as one of my regular routes is plagued by them (well, not the overturning bit, despite the presence of me, lycra clad, on a bicycle).

I think this is the exact location where our hero lorry driver was ambushed by the sudden appearance of cyclists (judging by the shape of the tree in the video).

Hmm...

Footballers & their cars, its ok though it was the cars fault according to their manager https://www.kentonline.co.uk/medway/sport/purely-an-accident-gillingham-...

Erm - that's a pretty spectacular loss of control...

The rest of the article is behind a paywall, but I think I can guess the answer to this:

https://www.independent.ie/farming/legal-advice/i-tried-to-overtake-a-slow-moving-tractor-and-i-got-rear-ended-by-the-car-behind-me-can-i-sue-the-tractor-driver/a138623252.html

I know the answer! It's a definitive yes. However, your case has no merit, you won't find a barrister who will take it, and if you manage to file the suit it will be dismissed on day one.

Accelerating hard through effective chicane (in convoy with other team members), hits a wet shaded patch? https://goo.gl/maps/ybHPYjSFkuiKe5zB6

I wonder if the witnesses they spoke to included the pedestrian who appears to stop sharply as the car approaches from under the rail bridge

The only fault on the car's part is that it is capable of being driven at way over the speed limit.

Thanks for the Streetview image - like the video, it doesn't convey this though, the reason why he swerves into the side like that.

Lack of responsibility for their own safety and even worse - their kids.

Should have been wearing hi-vis and a helmet.

Impressive isn't it, looks just like classic RWD oversteer, so not sure why they think the car was the problem.

More slamming: West Country beach town slammed for 'no parking' and 'too many people'

Writing the review on TripAdvisor, user Ashropshiregal said: “Absolutely nowhere to park , traffic warden giving out tickets to cars in car parks who made their own spaces . People everywhere couldn't drive though."

It all got too much for her and she went back to her digs.

The great car insurance con: Premiums soar to record high as prices hiked 50% in a year

According to James Daley, managing director of the consumer group Fairer Finance...

“Premiums have been driven up by two main factors – inflation and changes to regulation. The cost of car repairs and car parts has risen just like everything else over the past year – as has the cost of personal injury claims. All of this pushes up the cost of insurance,” he said.

The growing number of electric vehicles may be playing a part too, as repairs to these can be a lot higher than to a standard car. The insurer LV added that “new high-tech vehicles equipped with sensors, cameras and high-voltage systems are raising the cost of replacement parts and also require specialist labour to fit”.
