sorry, alcohol and cycling do not mix
The words of a man who has, I fancy, never had a bottom-gear-and-handlebars-turned-90-degrees race or towed a git in a rubber dinghy at speed over a BMX ramp.
Exactly what Albert Hoffman said.
eh, I've seen worse organised crits.
It should be pointed out, though - ethanol makes a decent petrol subsitute.
Don't go suggesting alternative uses for ethanol! Us ugly people rely on it (and light you wouldn't choose a suit by) to breed.
Apart from a few participants (who were probably a bit sore the next day) no one was harmed, no one was inconvenienced, no one's property was damaged or destroyed and best of all a great time was had by all concerned.
Result.

And presumably nobody defecated on the village green.
Isn't this an Aussie Rules Sportive?
