Teams are making their final preparations for Sunday’s Tour of Flanders, one of the highlights of the season – and, for a Belgian cyclist, winning it is the equivalent of an English footballer scoring the winner in the FA Cup Final at Wembley.
With three-time winner Tom Boonen out through injury, one of the riders upon whom hopes rest for a home victory is Sep Vanmarcke – the 26-year-old was third last year when Fabian Cancellara, also missing this time round, got his third victory.
Vanmarcke is one of the riders featured in this short video from Bell, helmet supplier to his Lotto NL-Jumbo team, the fourth in a series airing this Classics season, and you’ll find much more information on their website.

On long rides I always repair a tube so I can never 'run out' of inners. Once the punctured inner is free of the wheel I will try and find the hole...
