Pedalling poltergeists and cycling spectres invited to meet in South Bank from 6pm tomorrow

Pedalling poltergeists, cycling spectres and velo-loving vampires will take to the streets of London on bicycles tomorrow evening, with hundreds of cyclists signing up on Facebook to a free Halloween-themed ride billed as 'Bikepocalypse.'

Organised by the website ibikelondon.com - which comes from the people behind Cyclehoop - 300 people have said they will attend the ride, meeting outside BFI South Bank at 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

The ride will cover around 19 miles at what is described as an "easy" pace, and will take participants across the heart of the capital from Hyde Park in the west to Limehouse in the east.

If you go along, don't forget to upload your pictures to social media with the tag #mycyclingweekend - we'll have a round-up of the best Halloween-themed ones on Monday.
