CCTV image released by Metropolitan Police in connection with Karla Roman death.jpegPolice seek cyclist who may have vital information over death of another rider in east London
The Metropolitan Police have launched an appeal to try and trace a male cyclist whom they believe may have vital information regarding a collision in east London that claimed the life of a 32-year-old rider earlier this year.
Karla Roman (pictured below) died in the Royal London Hospital from the injuries she sustained in a collision involving a coach on Whitechapel High Street, near the junction with White Church Lane, shortly before 9am on Monday 6 February.
Officers said that CCTV footage showed a male cyclist riding close to Ms Roman along White Church Lane, with the man then carrying on over the junction and into Osborn Street.
While there was a witness appeal launched at the time of the fatal crash, the fresh one is specifically to try and find the male cyclist.
Detective Constable Ian Payne commented: “We are specifically appealing to the cyclist seen in the image to come forward as we believe he could potentially provide vital information for our ongoing enquiry.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.

Mistakes happen in articles. Maybe people should just drop the writer a note instead of trying to win imaginary internet points.
Being easy to fit isn't the sole criterion for a good tyre. Easy to fit tyres also tend to be easy to remove tyres, which is fine if you're trying...
Equally, you could say don't fixate on the frame material - both ti and carbon can be made comfortable or stiff.
