The competition has now closed so please don't enter!
The winner has been chosen, please step forward Stuart Howard-Cofield.
Congratulations Stuart, C3 Products, Sportful's UK distributor will be in contact shortly by email.
We've teamed up with our very good friends at C3 Products, the UK distributor of Sportful. You might have seen our story on their latest autumn gear at Eurobike last month and by a wonderful coincidence they're offering up 4 choice items from their autumn release. You could be the seasonably cheery winner of this whole outfit just by entering the competition in the usual manner using the form below.
Let's have a gander at what they're offering up then....
1 R&D Light Jacket with an RRP of £180
1 R&D Bib-Tight with an RRP of £125
1 R&D Strato Top with an RRP of £120
1 BodyFit Pro BaseLayer with an RRP of £45
We've actually got reviews coming up soon of some of these new items, and one of them will be the R&D Light Jacket, but for the time being take a look at our review of it from last year, when it scored 9/10, bearing in mind it's been updated this year! In last year's review our man David Arthur said:
"An excellent winter jacket, with highly impressive Polartec Alpha insulation and superb breathability"
"the perfect choice for cool and dry winter rides" so it's not intended as a rain jacket but will operate happily between 5 and 15 degrees.
"For a jacket to offer this much warmth yet prevent overheating is very impressive."
Anyway, you get the idea, we don't give out too many 9/10s and this is a top cold weather jacket. If the new review comes out I'll update this piece.
Up next, and a really good looking piece which David is currently reviewing, is the R&D Strato Top, which we were very impressed with at Eurobike as it's a part jersey, part gilet combo, and pretty much unique as a piece of clothing in today's market. Again, you can see what we said when we saw it at Eurobike and now the review has come in (you can read it here) and it scored 9/10, with Dave saying:
"Warm, windproof and comfortable thermal top is ideal for cool temperature cycling"
"Aside from wet weather, it's possibly the only top you'll need this autumn and winter."
"it really has been my go-to top when it's cool and dry."
And there's a little bit more about its creation here. The Strato top has an RRP of £120.
If it gets really chilly, you're going to need a base layer and well here's Sportful's latest, the Body Fit Pro with a RRP of £45. We've not reviewed this one, but the jersey in the BodyFit Pro range scored 8/10 last year and well, you can usually reckon on Sportful's quality. And of course, this is a free prize, so come on!
And finally, we've got a set of the R&D Bib Tight, with a RRP of £125 and again, we've reviewed the last incarnation back in 2015, when David Arthur gave it a 9/10. You can read that review here, but he said, amongst other things:
"Exemplary warmth and excellent fit"
and (very importantly) " the padded insert is comfortable for the longest rides you have planned"
"they're really very good even in sub-zero temperatures"
What more can you need in a bib tight?
That's your lot, folks, but it's a pretty fine set of Autumn clobber, an outfit I'm sure you would love to get your hands on. All you have to do is fill in the form below; remember, just one entry per person please, UK only! We do dedupe before we choose winners!
