One of the reasons teams like using SRAM is their fantastic support backup at events. In the states they run neutral support a la Mavic over here.
Even this side of the pond they try to make sure their users get similar in event backup.
Not sure i can see campag running around after competitors in the same helpful & friendly manner & i speak as a 15yr plus user!

Pro bike mechanic
Andy, but you can replace parts on Campaq easy whilst with SRAM and Shimano this is not the case.
All the mechanics I have ever spoken to ALL prefer and use Campaq. Easier to fix, better quality manufacture etc etc
^Funny guy.
There's nothing that this manufacturer can bring out that is going to worry Campag or Shimano quite honestly. I just wish they would give up. I would never buy their stuff.
Have to look at the number of teams in the 2011 Tour riding SRAM (10, vs 6 on Campag) vs 2009 (4 SRAM / 10 Campag) I'd say the Italians in particular have got plenty to think about...
A 3rd player in the market has got to be good for all of us - nothing like a bit of extra competition to keep the bigger boys honest. And I'd venture that SRAM's entry (and lets face it, pretty decent performance)is one of the reasons for Campag and Shim upping the ante with electronics and 11 speeds.
I was hoping there'd be a voiceover so I could find out how to pronounce it. SRAM, that is. I know how to pronounce red.
Pronounced just like it looks; 'AM' as in 'I AM going to punch Jeremy Clarkson" with 'sr' as in 'that Sri Lankan bowler is causing havoc on this wicket' in front of it. srAM. It helps if you say it with an American accent. srAAAM.
Campaq all the way! so much cooler than the Japs or Yanks!
Wow. You mean I could make my bike even lighter? I want!!! Come on SRAM give me more info!!
Yup, the brake lever shape is a bit different. And I gotta admit I LOVE the new paint job.
New shifters here?

We going to be looking at £325 RRP (aka £200-250 online) for the cassette like the current XX model?
