Right to Play Tour to London 2013 logoCharity Right to Play launches its 2013 Tour to London bike ride
The charity Right To Play, which counts former world champion Mark Cavendish among its celebrity supporters, has launched its 2013 Tour to London bike ride, covering 300 miles over three days.
The trip lasts from 11th to 14th July, starting in Tours where participants will watch the finish of Stage 11 of the Tour de France – and perhaps a Cavendish sprint win – before heading off on the first leg of the journey to London.
It’s the fourth time that Right to Play has staged the ride – last year’s started in Liège, scene of the Tour’s Grand Départ – and retailer Cycle Surgery has been brought on board to provide additional support for the 200 riders expected to take part in 2013.
Registration is £150 plus a £100 travel supplement, and there is a fundraising target of £1,000.
Cavendish himself visited Tanzania earlier this month to see the charity’s work at first hand, and you can find out more about Right To Play and the 2013 Tour to London ride on its UK website.
