Look have overhauled their 795 Blade RS, claiming the new bike is not only faster but also more integrated and versatile than the previous version.

Gone is the slightly awkward-looking flush stem on the 795 Aerolight (read our review here), and in its place is a more traditional-looking yet fully integrated and fast front end, with internal cable routing through the stem and top tube. Look refined the aerodynamics with CFD and using the new Flanders Bike Valley independent wind tunnel, built specifically for cycling; finding that the 795 Blade RS outperformed the 785 and previous 795 models (with the Blade RS Disc just coming out on top, as you can see in the graph below).
Look also claim the fork, rear triangle and head tube have been made stiffer, and the new bridge-less 'Smooth Sword' seatstays are designed to bend slightly under compression, which allows the rear wheel to maintain constant contact with the road. Look say the optimising of traction and comfort in the rear triangle means you don't need a flexible seatpost to improve comfort, which further improves pedalling efficiency. Tyre clearance is on point with the modern trend for wider rubber, with the rim brake version taking 28mm and the disc bike allowing for up to 30mm tyres.
The bike is also versatile enough to be ran as a full time trial rig, with a clamp for a bottle cage on the seat post, easy routing to fit TT bars and a super aggressive seat tube angle. One of the models available will be a full disc brake TT bike with Ultegra Di2 shifting, and of the drop bar versions the rim brake bike is available with Dura-Ace Di2 and Corima 47 clinchers wheels, or Ultegra Di2 with Mavic Kysrium Black UST's. The disc brake version comes with Ultegra Di2 and either the Vittoria Elusion or Shimano RS 370 tubeless-ready wheelsets with 28mm tyres.

I'll just wait until the next model to be released. It's bound to be 10% more compliant, 6% more aero and save 40 watts over 10km. Or is that to be the next iteration of the Shiv?
Terrific looking bike. As nice as the 695 but a bit more contemporary. Too bad they went away from the ZED cranks. Strange that the GPS mount is not connected to the stem bolts, rather than the bulky bar mount that LOOK has come up with.
