I've had this on mine too.
I cleaned up the battery connectors and all is now good.
Actually I haven't had it as long as I thought- only this January. Now I think about it though I'm not sure what to do about warranty as it will leave me without a light while it's being sorted. Annoying.
I think there's something of an issue with these lights. I noticed when coming in from the cold to a warm room, condensation would appear internally. Mine started to fail after just a few months. Wiggle refunded me no problem - to their credit.
They repaired mine under warranty , and I am sure it said on the website that they are guaranteed for up to two years. My rear was on its second autumm/winter when it gave up the ghost. By all accounts they replaced all the inside's FOC and sent it back , only took about two weeks.
I've got three Lezyne lights of different types, although not the Macro, and never had a minute's bother. But I am reassured to hear from other users that their after-sales service is superb. Even though yours is out of guarantee why don't you try an email, explaining that the circuitry is on the blink. Who knows, they may help?
The worst they can do is say no.
