Damn.....had all of the correct riders except Mollema.....even had the breakman....only problem was I split them across my two teams.
Imagine seeing the result and struggling to remember the configuration of teams!!
If I'd have had Gallopin and Gilbert,Stybar and Navardauskas,Txurruka and Landa,Kolobnev and Albasini plus Zubeldia and Irizar the other way around 'I Cudda beena contendah'!!
Hmmm... maybe you could start a Forum competition where you add the scores of both your teams together...
You'd win it hands down(if you added Uncle Orli's teams too!!)
I would... Or maybe I wouldn't... Maybe if I went opposite my gut with the 'orli' team...
Had Txurruka in standard but Valverde and visconti in purist, Jrod and Micky Winter in both.
Micky 'Snow'... Nice going with the JRod pick... must have put you up there...
Well that was pretty poor - my team, not the race.
4 and 8 plus however many Txurruka gets. Onto Poland
1,3,4,7,9,14 - pretty pleased for what little effort I put in. Should've had Mollema over Meersman to be in with a shout.
Why am I so bad at one-day races? Hmmm. Point for improvement next year, I think.
1,5,9,14,19 - better than my usual efforts in the one day races.
Oh. Dear.
Just 1,3,8,9 std .....had Yates as well but he seems to have broken his bike
1,2,4,5, purist atm
I have him, but thought he had been caught at gone
I wonder how many have Txurruka and more importantly can he hold on till the end
Sagan abandons
Gah, Gilbert
Convinced he just hates my fantasy team; every time I pick him he does as badly as possible.
Bloody weird rider he is. Total law unto himself.
Oh dear. Moreno and Gilbert both in my team.
PhilGil abandons
Looks like it will all go down to finish line points then, with it 99% likely now that Txurruka will be the only breakaway scorer
Ahhh thats ok then, updated pretty much when I got in from work, as they only released the full startlist yesterday at some point
Oh and just for Enrique as he loves PCS, there startlist was incorrect as of when I went to bed last night, but was updated in time for the deadline, but the game would have had the wrong riders had I used them
Also i may have forgot to send the roster update emails last night
Gee... I'm so disappointed... I trust them so much... I shall have a word with them... This is unacceptable... How many riders were they off?.... 4? 5? 10? A lot?... Wow... How sad... So whose start list did you end up using?...
A fair few off, you can add up how many I changed in the roster changes thread. I just used the official startlist
So did you use PCS to get the first pass game start list up and then used the official one once that was out?...
Used the official for both, used the initial official one (which is why Kreuziger was on) and then as it showed updates throughout the week. They just did a full update for riders yesterday. I was just curious how up to date PCS had been
I'm glad you're more thorough than they are... The game is better off for having you around... Thank you!
Txurruka 6'45 after 75km
Spoiler Alert.....he's my tip for KOM in La Vuelta
