What/which, Tyres? 700 x 25, road

My Schwalbe Ultremos' have been faultless. Saw endless punctures in Ride London last week and was expecting one any time but no problems.

If you want something bombproof then Specialized Armadillo Elites are great. Apart from a few months ago I swear I last punctured on them in 2012. When I finally did get puncture (after god knows how many miles, 4000-5000?) it was because I hit a pothole at 30 mph whilst in the middle of a chaingang (so much for the shout!).

In fact the pair of Elites before that wore all the way down to the casing before I had to change them but they pair never punctured.

True, they're a bit beefy, wouldn't race on them, but they're fast enough for training, spelling about on a fast club ride, etc.

Another one for gp4000's. Done 2000 or so miles since last puncture and they got me through last weekend's very wet ride london without a problem

Conti GP4000s, fit and forget.

Conti 4 seasons, at 25mm they are very comfy with a good level of grip.
They do square off after a few hundred miles if your a little over engineered but they are great all rounders and last around 3k miles for rear and probably twice that for the front.
Don't buy gatorskins unless puncture resistance is your main priority , they are like riding on solid tyres and their grip with winter approaching is appalling.

+1 on the Conti 4Seasons. Not had a puncture in 2000+ miles of riding in all sorts of weather. Excellent grip in the wet and very comfortable in 25mm

Schwalbe Marathons last and last, and are pretty trouble free, but are a major pain to get on and off.

I've been running Schwalbe Ones over the summer and been very impressed with grip, feel and puncture resistance.

I've had GP 4 Seasons for wet days / winter and found that they feel pretty good but puncture more than they should; I'm going to try Schwalbe Durano Plus for the winter, after lots of recommendations. I know they'll feel more sluggish but that's ok for the winter.

I exclusively use variations of Tricomps. They wear quite well for a race tyre, give a really nice road feel, grip quite well and can be had for a decent price from Ribble.

I use the standard tricomps in summer and the quattros in winter, although would be tempted to change the winter ones for sensos as they come in a 25mm option.

GP 4 Seasons ....

I can recommend Lithion II and Schwalbe Durano.

For top puncture protection as well as long life you can't beat Bontrager Race Lite Hardcase.

I'd avoid the Lithions. It may sound a bit lame but they're a bother to get on and off. Ok in the workshop but not at the roadside.

What do you mean by last? A season, a year, two years?
What are you currently running?
How are you killing them at the moment?
How much are you looking to spend?

I really rate my Vittoria Open Corsa SC they 'last' about a summer, but are such a good tyre performance wise I can deal with that.
