#LaVuelta 6 riders chasing @pimligthart and Más Bonet: Clarke, Engoulvent, Favilli, Le Bon, Sagan and Teklehaimanot.
Don't think Matthews will care about today as he would need Yates and Chaves to drag him up the hill. He could win tomorrow instead
6 transfers, 2 pens

Froome
Chaves

Kelderman
Mondory
Debusschere (who has a birthday today)
Fominykh (will never get a spare transfer to get rid of him)

I'll be amazed if Matthews is in contention near the end. The final climb reaches 12.8% for a km and then 10% for the last 3km.
Tried to keep some balance between today and tomorrow. Maybe one transfer tomorrow?

Really couldn't decide whether to go with a GC team or some stage-hunters. So did a bit of both - Dan Martin, Purito, LLSanchez, Yates, plus Froome just in case.
Also left Bling in - are we definitely sure that he'll lose the jersey today? He won into Montecassino at the Giro...
Well after lots of tooing and frooing, maybe foolishly deciding not to go for Froome, Contador or Valverde!

Will Valverde stick something in Froome's spokes?

Thought about Arredondo but with him being 20+ mins down didn't feel it was worth it, prehaps wait for a stage with plenty of climbing
