new road bike up to £2500

I want to buy a carbon road bike and have up to £2500 to spend, but i am going around in circles trying to decide which to get. I intend to do longer sportive rides and not really to race so want a slightly more relaxed geometry.

All ideas and suggestions greatly received!

Thanks everyone for your advice and tips. I quite like the look of the canyon endurance, so may go with them.
Some great looking bikes thrown in to the mix by you all though! It's truly not an easy decision to make!!

Have you looked at Orro bike? Details should be available on http://www.i-ride.co.uk . Orro Gold Ultegra £2k or Di2 at £2.6k.
I was looking to buy a bike at your budget and have to say that the bike looks very nice. Anyhow, I went into my local Giant bike shop initially to see if they have any 2015 model but ended up getting a 2014 Giant Defy Advanced 1 with full Ultegra groupset. It is a demo (with 5 rides to it I've been told) and managed to get it at £700 off full price.
Would love to get any review or feedback from anyone who currently owns this bike. Thanks.

Stand out from the crowd!
I just bought a Van Nicholas Ventus with Ksyrium Elites. Rides like a dream and looks gorgeous.

If it were me, I think for the money it'd be a Canyon Endurace with Ultegra (about £1600 right now) plus a Stages power meter, or set of C35 wheels, or some other worthy upgrade that floats your boat (maybe even an Ultegra Di2 groupset). I'd stay away from the Dura-ace bike though, unless you're happy with the price of spare parts. You never know when you might need to replace, say, a shifter or a rear mech...

Alternatively, if you don't mind shopping around, it's about this time of year that you might find a good end-of-season deal on a truly fancy-pants bike, like a Bianchi Infinito CV or something along those lines. I see JE James advertising the 11sp Ultegra model of the Infinito for £2900, (down from something like £3500), but there will be other models out there that fit your budget - maybe the Specialized Tarmac SL4, down from £3000 to £2400, for instance. I'd still go for the Canyon though.

A few pounds over your budget, but a class leader.

Cannondale Synapse Ultegra and a pair of £500 wheels. Or a Canyon Endurace with Dura Ace. I guess the Canyon is better value, as usual.
