With longer Sportives my pockets are stuffed full of tubs/ tubes, gels, tools, so the number goes above the pocket in the amateur position.
I have Endura Race Snaps, that work with thinner summer jerseys.
I think every sportive/triathlon/running event I've ever done has had a number....
I don't see what the problem is with safety pins... after all, with a cycling jersey you're pinning to the pocket.
I mean, you ARE pinning to the pocket yes? I've seen many "creative" positions for numbers...
When did sportives start giving people numbers for the jersey?
Always (I only do closed road events.) Those racedots look heavy and you need the back magnet against your skin on the inside. Eventclip is just a plastic version. Not useful for events which want the number on the front (I like to slip it off before the start line.)
Much rather get a packed of Racedots....
