Handlebar Comfort - Compact Or Anatomic?

After my last post regarding flat top bars I was wondering if there is a big difference in comfort between a compact drop and Anatomic drop?

I've always used Anatomic but I've never been one to ride much in the drops. Would a compact drop make much difference to the comfort of riding in the drops? Or is it just a matter of riding in the drops and adapting to that position?

As always thanks for your thoughts/advice

Anatomic refers to the shape of the bend, not the overall depth of a bar. You can get classic and anatomic bars in standard or shallow depth.
A compact bar made a huge difference to me, i do most of my riding on the brake hoods so set my bars quite low relative to my saddle but compact bars opened up a whole new position for me. I use classic bend compacts on my winter bike and anatomic compacts on my summer bike. I really dont know which ones i prefer.
