Open Corsa CX everytime.
Can't believe people are suggesting Conti GP4000S, sidewall is so rigid on them they just don't corner as well as a Corsa, sure they last a lot longer, but this is a race tyre, so performance is paramount.
Don't go riding them on the commute and a set of Corsa's should last you a race season (providing you don't get any big slashes)
+1 vittoria open corsa CX, grippy, smooth and will take high pressures. Getting hold of them in 25mm seems difficult, however, if that's important to you..
They also do SL version which is same apart from tread pattern and sidewall colour... If its good enough for the pros....
+2.
ChainReaction and Merlin normally seem to have stock - and just seen that Sigma have some in at the moment for thirty quid each (which is a good price for them)

They're absolutely gorgeous to ride, I have the KX which is the CX with a different tread pattern (have a spare set can let go cheap if the OP wants to try).
Vredestein Fortezza Tricomp are a nice supple ride too, and could be had for a little over £ 40 a pair from Ribble last time I looked.
The pro4s were individually sold, the Corsas were sold by the pair. Good deal, unless someone owns a time trial racing tricycle
!
I didn't pay anything iek that for my air, and where can you get two pro4's for £18
I didn't spend anything like that much for my corsa's.
Just over 52 quid a pair still isn't bad in my book.
That was for a pair rather than each.
Spokely is showing michelin pro4 service course from £17.75 for plain black in 23mm.
If you want to go for the Veloflex Corsa they are only £52.45
Nice review of the GP4000s a few days ago on RoadCC

apologies - i didn't want to be spamming the link but we're still in testing phase so I guess google hasn't picked us up yet for the searches - spokely.co.uk
Thanks
Veloflex Cora's...you know you want to
4000s get my vote - touch wood - no punctures in nudging 1000 miles.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm leaning towards the michelins as I'll need a decent bit of puncture protection.
One of the 'deal' adverts on the RH side here shows Michelin Pro4 Service Course for £40/pair. Had to refresh a couple of times to see it, here's the link (25mm at Decathlon).
Merlin have pairs of 23mm with free tubes at £45:

You can't go far wrong with either these, Ultremo ZX or GP4000S II.
Schwalbe One
Well done love.
He asked about tyres.
Spesh Turbos; quick, grippy, last about 5 minutes.
Conti 4000s; quickish, grippyish, last for ages.
Michelin Pro 4; quickish, grippy, last a bit longer than the spesh, not as long as the 4000s.
So he did
Well a wheel upgrade wouldn't hurt?
GP4000s would be my choice then
Campag Eurus or Shamals are very good wheels for the price, I have won races on my Eurus.
