Riding with a trailer.

Hi All,

Just wanted to share a picture of our two girls in the Croozer trailer we have. I've been trying to get my wife to cycle for a while, and it turns out this is a great way! The last couple of weekends I've cycled around with one or both of them, doing chores, and she hasn't been able to come.

What I find interesting about being with the trailer, is that people actually give you the whole lane most of the time. On roads where I normally get frequent close drive-bys, a combination of the size/visibility of the trailer and my road positioning means cars move out properly. Obviously I'd rather be on cycle paths, but they're only available for parts of our routes, so we have to use main roads occasionally.

Admittedly the Croozer (and the infant adapter on the left) don't comme in very cheap, but it's very sound and reliable, and my eldest loves being in it.

Cheers,

Tim.

i know what you mean about being given lots more room with a trailer in tow, i often do shopping etc with mine and its amazing how much more 'polite' car drivers are.. maybe i should leave it on. 4
