French Alps route marker souvenirs

Hi all. I've just returned from a frankly epic trip across the cols of the Alps, Madeliene, Galiber etc. Every km on the climbs there are these little pillar waymarkers which tell you how far to go and the gradient of the next km, and I did see you could buy wee ones as souvenirs. I didn't bother at the time - we were doing 2-3 cols a day so the extra weight might have been hell by the end of the week. Anyway, don't suppose anyone knows of anywhere they may be available to buy on-line? If you've ridden these routes you'll know what I'm on about, little yellow and white markers, about 2ft high, the souvenir ones were about 2" high. Cheers!

We featured them in Tech round-up a couple of weeks ago http://road.cc/content/news/60055-tech-roundup-yooniq-bike-eastpaks-new-...

I have a couple of those, but from the Pyrenees, like the Col d'Aubisque, from back in the day before digital camera's. I think I have prints of the photo's somewhere, but they get lost 2

Erm.

Nobody was serious about taking Kilo markers.

At least, I wasn't. 22

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply people were considering removal of the stone markers!! My point is, one's own "I was there" photo will always mean more than a mass-produced trinket.

A suggestion: take only photographs, leave only footprints.

I saw them when I was at Mount Aigoual, but they were massive rocks, so I left them be.

Good luck in our quest, which ones do you want to buy?
