They could go as a second Sky team... "Sky Plus".
I'll get me coat.
didds
Yeah I saw the story, BUT, if he did decide to go, which team is going to take him on? As most teams are now sorting out their riders to attack their GC targets.
He's showed that he just needs one guy to give him a pull into the final KM, why not just train Eisel to do that, he's only 31....Then those two can ride their own tours within Sky
To be devil's advocate though, he hasn't exactly done too badly in this tour either?
yeah, I think a lot of us thought that GKAM… if you read Cav's comments in the last few days, and what Froome had to say today about Sky re-affirming to him that they would continue to be a GC team then it all adds up, and of course there was that story in L'Equipe yesterday, but we thought we'd save that until the Tour was done and dusted.
Sagan is like EBH.....but better. He's not going to settle for leading Cav out, but a switch would be good for both parties.
Sagan has shown he doesn't need a team to win green and Cav doesn't "really" need a lead out, but with Nibali going away from Liquigas, he could get a decent lead out train there. The only other one would be to team up with Goss again at Greenedge, but that's not going to go down well.
Anywhere he goes, he'll need to take his babysitter Eisel
Yeah, he needs a sprint team really.
What does everyone think the best leadout train would be?
Sagan for drop off?
